Kantanagar Temple, commonly known as Kantaji Temple or Kantajew Temple is a late medieval Hindu temple in Dinajpur, Bangladesh. Built by Maharaja Pran Nath, its construction started in 1702 CE and ended in 1752 CE, during the reign of his son Maharaja Ramnath. It boasts one of the greatest examples of Terracotta architecture in Bangladesh.
Day 01: Dhaka to Dinajpur
Leave Dhaka early in the morning around 7 am. This will be a 7 hours drive. Lunch at a Highway Restaurant. After arriving Dinajpur check-in to the hotel and freshen up. If there is enough time will have a short visit to Dinajpur city. Overnight at Dinajpur.
Day 02: Exploring Dinajpur
Finally, it’s time to visit Kantajew Temple which is the biggest terracotta temple in Bangladesh. This morning we will drive to Kantajew Temple which is a 25 KM drive from Dinajpur. After that, we will visit Nayabad Mosque and a Santal tribal village. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Dinajpur To Dhaka
Early in the morning, we will leave for Dhaka.
