Floating market and Sundarban Tour 5D/5N

Today we will drive to Dhaka Sadarghat ROCKET terminal, after arrival at Sadarghat accommodate The ROCKET steamer and start cruise at 06:30pm. The famous paddle wheel steamer – ROCKET – 100 years old – running from the British Colonial Period. After getting on ROCKET you will enjoy the view around you. Overnight at 1st class AC cabin in the ROCKET.

Arrive Barisal early in the morning. Transfer to hotel and take breakfast than drive to “Banaripara” river port, Visit “FLOATING RICE MARKET” in the mighty river “SANDHA”. Then proceed to “Floating Guava Market” by a traditional engine boat, where you will enjoy a Gorgeous Back Water. Beside this here you will watch floating sugarcane gardens and hog palm gardens. Miles after miles you will enjoy this Back Water. Villagers carrying Guava, Sugarcane, Water Lilies and Vegetables etc onto the floating market and Buyers are collecting these to sale in the city market for high price. In here you will see the natural beauty everywhere. Sometime you will watch 2/3 canal junction. You will be pass lots of canals in a day. Shadow of many big trees falling on these canals like a Swamp Forest. In the midst of this landscape there are number of villages and full of village activities. Take lunch in a village restaurant and start for Timber and Nipa Palm Leaves, name Swarupkathi. Return back to Barisal by late afternoon, overnight at hotel

Early in the morning you will catch Rocket that today we will travel to Murolgong, arrive Murolgong by afternoon and drive to Mongla, on the way we will visit Sixty dome mosque ( An UNESCO World Heritage Site ) Overnight at Hotel Pashur, .

After breakfast we will start cruising south towards Sundarban. Following the formalities at the Forest Department Station near Mongla Port the cruise to the south-eastern part of the jungle will continue, reaching Harbariya in the late afternoon and go for a short walking. If time permits your guide will offer some activities in the forest. Overnight on board.

Shortly after sunrise we invite you to explore the narrow creeks aboard a wooden rowboat, allowing a close look at the unique mangrove fauna & flora. After a leisurely breakfast the guide will offer a variety of activities, including an easy trek to the pristine beach facing the Bay of Bengal of a hike through the mangroves. In the afternoon there will be more activities for you. Overnight on board in Katka.

After an optional early morning boat trip, the boat will move to Mongla . Here the guide will offer activities according to your interests, tide & weather conditions. After lunch the boat will start the return journey via Supoti towards Mongla. After lunch by 2/3pm you will leave from boat and drive back to Jessore catch flight travel back to Dhaka.
